“I attended the ICTAID Computers for a Change training program in 2017 right after completing my MSCE. During this training, I gained practical knowledge in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The training was very helpful as it improved my digital skills and my ability to work well with documents, data, and presentations. Since then, I have applied these skills in both school and work settings. For example, I help other people with data entry in different fields using Microsoft Excel and other computer packages like ODK, DHIS2 and Survey CTO, which has greatly improved my speed, accuracy, and confidence in handling computer-related tasks. The program also gave me hands-on skills in network and systems administration, which I previously thought were only for males.”
